Oracle Secure Global Desktop Client

You can access Secure Global Desktop server using a separate, dedicated application that integrates with your desktop.

To install an Secure Global Desktop Client, follow the instructions for your client device.

Mac OS X
  1. Download the Secure Global Desktop Client for Mac OS X, OracleSecureGlobalDesktopClient.dmg, to a temporary directory on your Mac.
  2. Double-click OracleSecureGlobalDesktopClient.dmg to open the installer disk image.
  3. In the window that appears, double-click the Oracle Secure Global Desktop Client.pkg package to install the Secure Global Desktop Client.
  4. Follow the instructions on your screen.

Microsoft Windows 64-bit
  1. Download the Secure Global Desktop Client for Microsoft Windows, sgdcwin-5.60.514.msi, to a temporary directory on your PC.
  2. Double-click sgdcwin-5.60.514.msi to install the Secure Global Desktop Client.
  3. Follow the instructions on your screen.

Microsoft Windows 32-bit
  1. Download the Secure Global Desktop Client for Microsoft Windows, sgdcwin-en.msi, to a temporary directory on your PC.
  2. Double-click sgdcwin-en.msi to install the Secure Global Desktop Client.
  3. Follow the instructions on your screen.

  2. At a command prompt, extract the tar file by typing tar xvf sgdci3li.tar.
  3. Install the Client by typing sh sgdc/install.
  4. Follow the instructions on your screen.

Solaris™ Operating System (Solaris OS) on x86 platforms
  1. Download the Secure Global Desktop Client for Solaris OS on x86 platforms, sgdci3so.tar, to a temporary directory on your system.
  2. At a command prompt, extract the tar file by typing tar xvf sgdci3so.tar.
  3. Install the Client by typing sh sgdc/install.
  4. Follow the instructions on your screen.

Solaris OS on SPARC® platforms
  1. Download the Secure Global Desktop Client for Solaris OS on SPARC platforms, sgdcspso.tar, to a temporary directory on your system.
  2. At a command prompt, extract the tar file by typing tar xvf sgdcspso.tar.
  3. Install the Client by typing sh sgdc/install.
  4. Follow the instructions on your screen.
